For some retirees, Federal withholding for January 1,2010 pension payments will be under withheld. The problem has been identified and correct monthly withholding will be in place for February 2010 payments. Retirees who are concerned about being under withheld for one month can adjust their federal withholding levels through Benefit Express any time in 2010 by calling 1-888-409-3300.

(HME) Home Medical Equipment and they were shipping you diabetic supplies automatically then you need to contact Edgepark at 1-800-321-0591 and tell them not to send you any more diabetic supplies . Then contact HME (Home Medical Supplies) at 1-888-722-0322 and find an in network provider in your zip code area. FEBRUARY-02-2010 Text Box: RETIREES ONLY   If you recently received a package from Benefit Express talking about cobra coverage for your insurance. By law, Benefit Express has to send that package to every retiree whose health care was transferred to the VEBA Trust . There is nothing you have to do. If you want to follow up with confirmation on your health care coverage you can call Benefit Express toll free at 1-888-409-3300 Mon. thru Fri. 8am - 3 pm Central time. Text Box: If you received Diabetic Supplies in 2009 and was charged a deductible or co-pay. Those claims could have been processed incorrectly. For me to do an investigation I would need you to call Edgepark at 1-800-321-0591 and request an itemize bill with procedure codes and then call UHC at 1-866-249-7487 and request an EOB (explanation of benefits) for your Edgepark diabetic supplies from 2009 and durable medical equipment for examples Diabetic Shoes. Due to the Hippa Law (Privacy Act) you would have to request that information and then mail copies of them to me at UAW LOCAL136 Attn: Benefit Rep. Dan Hagen 980 Horan Drive Fenton, Mo. 63026 or bring copies to the next retiree meeting. With the prescription mail order you should have 3 or 4 itemize bills in 2009 from Edgepark and 3 or 4 EOB's (explanation of benefits) from UHC. You would also need to list your UHC subscriber ID# or social security number on the bill for me to process the information.
